A Look Back

Every session of PPD brought its share of fun and knowledge to us. But back in 2 years how many of us could have imagined that the word “PPD” would influence us to this extent. So, this article is to have a look back in what we learned from PPD.

As I remember 2 years ago without a big hesitation I started to learn PPD. “Personal Progress Development” according to me was a useless subject those days. But after attending 2 or 3 sessions I started to love it. I tried to find the interest on it. I started to like this more than many other boring lectures we had. It did not take me much time to realize that developing inner skills is important as much as having academic skills to build my career.

PPD was a great platform to develop my soft skills. Among the many things I learnt so far from PPD, it has taught us to,

  • how to perfectly manage our time
  • how to work as team
  • how to be a good leader
  • how to negotiate with others
  • how to manage thing in stressful times
  • how to take quick but correct decisions
  • how to achieve our targets in a short period
  • how to behave in corporate society
  • how to face an interview
  • how to write a good resume
  • how to present our skills in front of an audience

This subject also taught me to be a better person, to build my personality and to build good social relationships. I have gained may things to my life through this subject. So finally, I like to thank all the lecturers and facilitators who shared their knowledge with us and gave us this great opportunity to build our selves.
